Funding

Funding

While a person may have a desire to have children, we understand that the financial constraints involved in using fertility treatments to achieve pregnancy can be a barrier to starting a family.

That is why Leicester Fertility Centre is thrilled to have partnered with Access Fertility to help take the uncertainty out of IVF treatment. It means that you can begin fertility treatment with a clear view of the costs.

If you would like to get in touch with Access Fertility to discuss your options and any of their programmes you can contact them by telephone at 03300 102040 or by email at support@accessfertility.co.uk. Alternatively, you can email the clinic at accessfertility@uhl-tr.nhs.uk.

What programmes do Access Fertility offer?

There are three options that Access Fertility are prepared to offer with IVF treatment.

IVF Unlimited Programme

If you pay a fixed fee, Access Fertility will offer you as many cycles of IVF treatment as you need over two years. If you remain unsuccessful after that time, you can receive a 100% refund. It also includes:

  • Unlimited frozen embryo transfers
  • A potential saving of at least 40% compared to paying as you go along

It also covers in cycle monitoring (bloods and scans), follow-up consultation post fresh cycle, HFEA fee, blastocyst culture and one year storage with embryo freezing.

This option is available to patients who are under 38 years of age and are using their own eggs.

IVF Refund Programmes – 100% Refund

Access Fertility offer the chance to have up to three IVF or ICSI cycles, if needed, at a large discount. They also offer refunds should the treatment not work for you. This also includes unlimited frozen embryo transfers and fixed fees that could save you up to 40% compared to paying as you go along.

It also covers in cycle monitoring (bloods and scans), follow-up consultation post fresh cycle, HFEA fee, blastocyst culture and one year storage with embryo freezing.

Eligibility for this programme is decided based on a medical review, but is only available to women aged 39 and under who are using their own eggs.

IVF Multi-Cycle Programme

This programme will offer you the opportunity to pay for two cycles at a discounted rate. By pre-paying a fixed amount, it means that you have a second attempt available to you should your first not result in pregnancy.

It also includes an unlimited amount of frozen embryo transfers, in-cycle monitoring (bloods and scans), a follow-up consultation post fresh cycle, the HFEA fee and blastocysts culture.

There is also no medical acceptance criteria to meet with this option. However, it is only available to those patients who are aged below 44 and are using their own eggs.
