ISO Accreditation

The Leicester Fertility Centre is ISO 9001 accredited

The International Standards Organisation (ISO), is an internationally recognised standard, a mark of achievement in quality management, it demonstrates our commitment to quality and improvement of services.

There are numerous benefits associated with a certified ISO 9001 management system, including improved service and quality, increased customer satisfaction levels

We started our accreditation journey in October 2005, as part of our commitment to improve services and standards to patients.

The entire Leicester Fertility Team has been involved, initially we set 10 objectives and distributed these between the staff; this ensured the whole team had ownership of the system. Many of the objectives have been achieved, some are still ongoing. We were able to target areas which we felt required improvement.

We are one of only a handful of Assisted Conception Unit in the country to have achieved this internationally recognised standard.

We will now be able to use the ISO mark and the Healthcare mark on our literature.
