Emergency Contact for patients

We provide emergency cover for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Our direct line telephone number (0116 2585922) is manned throughout the day. Occasionally during exceptionally busy periods the ansaphone may be switched on. Out of hours, the answer-phone message will direct callers to another number in the hospital. It will be arranged for a member of the ACU team to call back

Please only use this service if you have a genuine emergency and require urgent advice.
