The Leicester Fertility Centre is a provider of NHS funded IVF treatment to eligible patients within the East of England, as commissioned by the East of England Specialised Commissioning Group.
From the 1st May 2009 we are able to accept referrals from all eligible patients. This includes patients in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.
Eligible patients may receive a maximum of three full cycles of IVF treatment with up to three further frozen embryo transfers, totalling six embryo transfers.

Background
The Leicester Royal Infirmary is a part of

over 11,000 staff and providing services
to nearly a million people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
It has an annual income of £460 million.
The hospital
has over 1100 beds and over 5300 staff and provides
the only Accident & Emergency
service within the University Hospitals of Leicester Trust.
Leicester Royal Infirmary is a large city centre teaching hospital with strong
links to Leicester University and Leicester University Medical School. There
are also links to other academic institutions including those for nursing
and midwifery.
